I may be useless at selling but I am pretty good at marketing. This has happened largely by default; when you start a business and you know sod-all about anything outside your own particular skill, you'd better start learning the practicalities damn fast.

Turned out I understand the essentials of branding, positioning, customer relationships, stuff like that. And given my background in IT journalism and small-business publishing, plus a brief stint long ago at art college, it's reasonably logical that I have got stuck into marketing collateral. I now have many years experience to call on.

The links below include notes about the brief and the client for example projects. For most of them I did the design as well as copy:

websites
e-newsletters
paper and print [newsletters, invitations, business cards etc.]
PowerPoint presentations
advertisements
